Primary Duties and Responsibilities (Daily Duties)
Sets up and adjusts cutting machines for scheduled ordersSafe and efficient operation of the production process, including start-up, adjustment of cutting presses to proper parameters involving close tolerancesMaintenance, troubleshooting, and cleaning of the equipmentProvide training and assistance to lesser-skilled personnel.Notifies supervisor of any significant incidents/delays/equipment malfunction/ poor quality raw material.Strips/loads roll onto the machine using a forklift/clamp truck.Determines die layout to ensure minimum waste of paper.Inspects and measures products for conformance to specifications.May train in other areas to provide coverageOther duties as assigned/required.
