We’re partnering with a well-established NZ manufacturer to recruit a Machine Operator for their Ashburton team, producing plastic packaging for the food industry.

This is a hands‑on, technical role where you’ll be right in the mix – supporting production, improving processes, and helping ensure everything runs efficiently day to day.

About the Role

Working as part of a close‑knit production team, you’ll be responsible for setting, maintaining, and optimising machinery, while ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met.

This is a busy, practical role where you’ll be involved in:

• Setting and optimising plastics processing machinery
• Carrying out mould and tool changes, including full line changeovers
• Monitoring and adjusting production to maximise efficiency and quality
• Troubleshooting faults and minimising downtime
