**Job Title: 2nd Shift Machine Operator**

**Job Description**

The 2nd Shift Machine Operator sets up, operates, and maintains automated production equipment in a large manufacturing environment that produces paper-based packaging. This role focuses on troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing changeovers, monitoring product quality, and ensuring safe, efficient operation of the production line during the mid-shift.

**Responsibilities**

+ Troubleshoot machine issues and assist with mechanical repairs, including unjamming the line, rethreading the line, and replacing worn or broken drive belts, bearings, and related components.
+ Manage product changeovers to minimize downtime, including changing paper sizes and adjusting multiple areas of the manufacturing line to accommodate new product specifications.
+ Perform general maintenance on machines and other production equipment to ensure consistent and reliable operation.
