**Essential Responsibilities:**
You will work closely with an experienced carpenter to:

+ Assist in planning and laying out carpentry work from drawings, instructions, and blueprints
+ Assist in measuring, cutting, and shaping wood, plastic, and other materials using a variety of hand tools
+ Support construction, repair, and installation of building fixtures and structures (e.g., framing walls, hanging doors, installing windows, hanging sheetrock, installing countertops and cabinets, basic tiling)
+ Help maintain work areas using 5S principles (sort, set, shine, standardize, sustain) to ensure safe, organized, and efficient job sites
+ Assist with setup, use, and basic care of tools and equipment, including checking cords, guards, and safety devices before use
+ Follow all safety standards and procedures, including PPE use and fall protection, and promptly report unsafe conditions
