+ **Heart of Florida Landfill** , a Waste Connections site in Lake Panasoffkee, FL (Sumter County) has an immediate position open for a Maintenance Fuel Operator to performpreventative maintenance on our fleet of garbage trucks and heavy equipment machines. Individuals with 1+ years experience working on heavy diesel trucks or those that have completed a Diesel Technology program are encouraged to apply.
+ Monday through Friday 40 to 50 hours a week and some Saturday work.Pay $21+ DOE **Responsibilities include:**
+ Conducts safety checks on vehicles and equipment.
+ Performs maintenance related work as required.
+ Performs inspections, diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake and air systems on vehicles and equipment.
+ Maintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
+ Performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
+ Ability to effectively communicate needed repairs or tasks. **The id...
