LPN - Float Pool (Open)

The Resource Pool offers endless opportunities to expand your nursing experiences. In joining Resource Pool, you will gain skills to provide quality care in a variety of units including Med-Surg, PCU, and ICU. There are various specialty tracks for individualized interests which could include Peds, PICU, NICU, M/B, ED Observation Unit, Inpatient Rehab, and Psych. Training in ICUs to include Cardiac ICU, Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, Neurotrauma ICU, and more. The LPN (inpatient) practices practical nursing within the parameters set forth in Carilion Clinics Plans for the Provision of Patient Care and functions under the direction of a registered nurse or physician. Partners with the RN in collecting data, planning, implementing and evaluating patient/resident care.
