Job Description

Summary
The Cardiovascular Technologist works under the supervision of Director. The Cardiovascular Technologist is responsible for direct and indirect patient care, properly documenting all chronologically procedural events, analytical calculations, medications, equipment set up and operation, and instrumentation. Assists the physician during sterile procedures and assumes responsibility for completion of other functions as assigned.
This position is employed by Mosaic Life Care.
 Duties Assists provider with cardiovascular procedures by scrubbing, and/or first assisting to achieve optimal patient care.
Maintains knowledge/expertise of all cardiovascular procedures and team functions, of instruments and supplies used for electrophysiology and interventional cardiovascularvascular procedures, and to provide input for equipment purchase and maintain a cost-effective inventory.
