Long Range Mine Planning Engineer

We’re looking for a talented Mine Planning Engineer to join our Albian Long Range Mine Planning team. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in developing and optimizing integrated mine plans while collaborating with cross‑functional teams such as technical experts, operations staff, and regulatory stakeholders to support strategic mine development and maximize asset value.

• Job location: Calgary, Alberta
• Shift schedule: 5x2, 8‑hour shifts (Monday‑Friday)
• Safety sensitive position: Yes

Key Accountabilities:

• Mine Planning & Optimization – Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, geotechnical, geology, tailings, and regulatory teams to develop detailed mine plans and enable efficient operations at the Albian oil sands site. Oversee mine design projects including pit walls, haul roads, dumps, and dyke structures to ensure alignment with strategic goals.
