Key responsibilities
- Accurately create and enter purchase orders into the procurement system.
- Source and request quotations from suppliers and maintain records for procurement decisions.
- Confirm and record the receipt of goods and services against purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate reconciliation.
- Liaise with the finance team to resolve discrepancies between purchase orders, deliveries, and supplier invoices, ensuring timely payment processing.
- Schedule and track deliveries of goods and equipment, ensuring timely arrival and resolving any logistical issues with suppliers or freight providers.
- Monitor and manage stock levels of operational supplies and equipment, conduct regular audits, and maintain accurate inventory records.
