LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST

Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the INSTALLATIONS AND LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT of HQ US MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will develop, refine, analyze, and issues logistics policies applicable to supply chain capabilities. You will assist in identifying gaps in the strategic, operational and tactical-level logistics processes and procedures. You will provide expertise in supply, maintenance, and maintenance management support in the implementation of service directed initiatives for logistics. You will provide detailed briefings on the accuracy of reported equipment inventories and reported equipment readiness, and process improvements realized during the analysis. You will use judgement in interpreting and adapting guidelines such as policies, regulations, and work directions for application to specific problems.
