LOAN SPECIALIST (COMMERCIAL)

Summary This position is located in the Hawaii State Office in USDA/Rural Development (RD). The incumbent has responsibility for providing State-wide leadership, guidance and review in Community and/or Business Programs for the making and servicing of loans and grants for community facilities, public utilities, and/or businesses. This vacancy announcement is open to current Rural Development Employees only. Responsibilities Review for loan eligibility, feasibility, credit worthiness and viability determinations, loan approval and closing, project development and monitoring, and loan and grant servicing. Conducts evaluation reviews of State-wide performance to determine the effectiveness of the Community and/or Business Programs services.
