Client 1:
PEG‑fed, with district nurses currently managing morning and evening feeds.
Care Professional will assist with flushing the PEG twice daily (training provided).
Registered blind.
May need occasional night-time assistance to reach the bathroom safely.
Becoming increasingly mobile following a stroke.
Manages most personal care independently.
Client 2:
Living with advanced dementia.
A wanderer who enjoys being physically active, regularly going out on the bus or walking.
Requires covert medication administration.
Can be disinhibited and direct in communication, so the Care Professional must be emotionally robust, composed, and confident with boundary-setting.
