Linux System Engineer

The System Engineer position focuses on providing level 2 support for global IT infrastructures and applications. The person will be responsible for resolving incidents, creating operating procedures, collaborating with level 3 teams, and ensuring system availability.

Main responsibilities:

Level 2 incident support and resolution for infrastructure, networks, security, web applications, telecommand, and platforms.

Technical guidance and assistance to Incident Coordinators.

Close collaboration and/or escalation to Level 3 teams (System Administrators, Networks, DevOps, Development Engineers).

Creation and updating of SOPs.

Participation in special projects and management of critical alerts.

Required profile:

Experience in Linux/Unix, Windows Server, virtualization (VMWare, OpenStack).

Knowledge of Python, bash scripting, and networks (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN).

Intermediate English (spoken and written).
