As a Linux SysAd L2 – Senior, you will provide advanced Linux system administration, ensuring reliability, security, and performance of the Managed Private Cloud and legacy systems. You will play a key role in maintaining enterprise server environments, mentoring junior administrators, and driving process improvements.

What You'll Do and How You'll Succeed

• Install, configure, and update Linux operating systems to ensure smooth and secure operations.
• Manage users, groups, and file permissions, applying best practices for root access and security.
• Monitor system performance, tune parameters, and apply patches to maintain availability.
• Handle backups, troubleshooting, and system maintenance tasks, performing root‑cause analysis to minimise downtime.
• Optimise file systems and automate tasks using Bash and scripting tools.
• Mentor junior administrators and contribute to process improvements.
