About The Role

At Balfour Beatty, we’re entering an exciting period of growth across Scotland’s transmission network and are looking for a Linesman Erector 1 (Overhead Lines) to join our expanding team. You’ll initially be supporting works along the East Coast of Scotland, with the opportunity to work across a wider range of transmission projects as the programme develops. The role involves the installation and maintenance of high‑voltage overhead power lines, working on systems of up to 400kV , while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Flexibility is key in this role — projects and locations will evolve as the Scottish portfolio grows, offering long‑term opportunities to contribute to vital national infrastructure and be part of a team shaping the future of the network.
