Linehaul Coordinator-2

<p>Supports and/or contributes to planning transportation needs for the efficient movement of volume in an effort to maximize capacity, minimize partial trailer loads and ensure service integrity for assigned areas. Directs the dispatch of transportation equipment in accordance with the Linehaul plan.</p><p><strong>Essential Functions</strong></p><ul><li>Collaborates with other FedEx field operations to efficiently and effectively plan both contractor and equipment needs to ensure sufficient coverage for trailer movements.</li><li>Coordinates and tracks the processing and movement of FedEx trailers, rental equipment, new trailers, and dollies in the FedEx network.</li><li>Manages locally domiciled Unassigned Team logistics throughout the LH network to maximize the use of resources as well as minimize the tractor dwell.</li><li>In accordance with the Linehaul plan, directs the dispatch of transportation ...
