Lifeguard

St. Mary's is seeking a dependable and energetic Lifeguard to join our Day Program team. In this role, you will help create a safe, supportive, and enjoyable aquatic environment for clients while promoting engagement, recreation, and wellness through meaningful pool activities.

Essential Duties

• Monitor pool, deck, and surrounding areas to ensure swimmer safety and enforce pool rules.
• Maintain constant surveillance of swimmers and remain emergency-ready at all times.
• Assist swimmers entering/exiting the pool, including individuals with seizures or other health concerns.
• Inspect pool facilities and rescue equipment daily; report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Respond to emergencies by providing first aid, CPR/AED, rescues, and coordinating emergency services.
• Document attendance, activities, chemical checks, incidents, and pool closures per policy.
