Your Opportunity:

An opportunity exists for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) looking to work to their full-scope of practice and who has a passion for providing patient- and family-centered care at the Wetaskiwin Hospital and Care Centre.As a LPN, you will be working as a float nurse supporting three Medical Units (Unit 33, Unit 35, and Unit 43). All medical units provide care for patients with acute and complex chronic illnesses as well as occasional surgical patients. The LPN participates in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care and should expect to work to their full scope of practice. A wide range of skill sets is required to support patient care. Unit 35 also supports patients requiring telemetry monitoring and has two palliative suites.
