The Nurse promotes and maintains a healthful living and working environment for clients and staff and strives to ensure that the optimal achievable quality of nursing care is available to all clients. Assists in completing initial nursing assessments on clients. Refers any concerns to local health professionals.

Responsibilities include:

• Notes any physician's orders and ensures compliance.
• Provides for necessary follow up medical aftercare. Contacts parents regarding medications and health concerns
• Responsible for the overall health of the clients
• Coordinates and schedules appointments, collaborates with Providers.
• Assists in completing nursing assessment on each client.
• Dispenses medications as scheduled.
• Provides education to clients regarding medication and their side effects.
• Checks for needed monthly medication renewals.
