Licensed Practical Nurse - Renal Dialysis

Your Opportunity:

The Vascular Access (VA) Licensed Practical Nurse will provide a wide variety of nursing services to patients, families, communities and populations, while taking necessary steps to ensure their safety and well-being. This position is at or out of the Grande Prairie Dialysis Unit but will also be required to cover multiple sites with some visits to rural units. Key responsibilities may include assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation. The VA Nurse is responsible for the coordination of access creation (both vascular and peritoneal), surveillance monitoring to minimize access failure, as well as staff/patient education. The VA Nurse will support clinical competencies, organizational standards/practices/guidelines in collaboration with the leadership team.
