Summary: The LPN actively uses the nursing process in rendering total patient care under supervision of an RN and in accordance with the nursing care plan and medical plan of care. Provides direct patient care, meeting both psychological and physical needs in accordance with the plan of care, physician's orders, and nursing and department policies and procedures.
