Licensed Practical Nurse ( LPN) - Per Diem

Overview

At Good Shepherd Hospice, our organization promotes the physical, emotional and spiritual well-being both of the person completing life's journey and their family members by providing comprehensive and compassionate end-of-life care of the highest quality.
We are looking for a compassionate LPN with the Hospice Heart to join our care team who are committed to providing both medical and emotional support to patients and families.
Per Diem requirement is 6 shifts per month, covering evenings and weekends.

Job Details

Our Community Hospice LPN’s:

+ Work under the supervision and assignment of the registered nurse to provide top-notch care to hospice patients and their families within a home setting.

+ Communicate status of patient to team


+ Help patient manage pain and end of life symptoms

+ Experience in home care, skilled nursing facilities and/or oncology preferred.
