Job Summary
Responsible for carrying out the instructions of the Director of Wellness. Supervise and monitor nursing staff to obtain highest quality care by performing routine nursing duties. Accountable to Director of Wellness/Executive Director for all nursing department activities and maintaining the corporate philosophy of quality care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Responsible for carrying out the instructions of the Director of Wellness. Supervise and monitor nursing staff to obtain highest quality care by performing routine nursing duties. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise HHAs, CNAs and the facility staff
- Make daily rounds of all Assisted Living residents and retirement residents if needed
- Observes and reports symptoms and conditions of patients to Director of Wellness DOW /Delegating R.N./Physician
- Administers medications and treatments per signed doctor's orders in an accurate, safe manner, observes effectiveness and reports to physician if needed
- Informs DOW of when supplies and equipment are needed
- Orders medication from pharmacy when needed
