The Nevada Department of Veterans Services, Nevada State Veterans Home in Boulder City, Nevada is recruiting for a Licensed Practical Nurse 2. This position provides direct nursing care to residents on an assigned neighborhood. In addition, this position administers medication and completes therapeutic procedures; provides specialized nursing wound care to residents; participates in the MDS/Care Planning process; communicates with neighborhood staff, residents, families, visitors, and members of the Nevada State Veterans Home treatment team. This is a 24-hour facility; therefore, applicants may be required to work shift work. Work experience in a skilled nursing facility and IV Certification is preferred. License information must be listed under the Professional License section of your applicant profile.
