Job Title: Library Assistant
Location: Macclesfield
Salary: £20,741 per annum (£26,073 FTE)
Job Type: Permanent, Part Time - Term Time only + 10 days (42.5 weeks per year),
Hours: 36.5 Hrs per week - Mon-Thurs: 9:30-17:30, Friday: 9:30-16:30
Start Date: 1st September 2026
The King's School in Macclesfield is a thriving co-educational day school, educating pupils from Pre-School to Sixth Form (ages 3-18). There are around 1,320 pupils and around 250 staff, making King's one of the largest HMC schools in the country.
We're currently looking for an experienced Library assistant who can take an active role in supporting staff and pupils in their use of the Senior School Library.
