LGV Driver

We are currently recruiting an LGV Driver to join our client in Ballymena , working on behalf of our client, Mid and East Antrim

Rate of Pay : £15.31 per hour | Temp Ongoing | 37 hrs per week , Working Tuesday - Friday

Job duties include:

• Perform pre-use vehicle checks and submit reports to the line manager.
• Drive vehicles legally and safely, using tachographs as required by transport legislation.
• Assess driving conditions regularly, especially in severe weather, to ensure public and employee safety.
• Operate and monitor on‑board systems (e.g. weighing, telematics, safety devices) according to procedures.
• Report accidents, breakdowns, and near misses promptly, including any damage, and complete necessary documentation.
• Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance, including power mechanisms and weekly weighbridge/sump cleaning, using PPE.
