About the role
Working as part of our Governance, Legal and Risk Team, reporting into our Governance Lead you will be responsible for coordinating the management of all information requests that come into council (Local Government Official Information and Meeting Act (LGOIMA), Privacy Act and Ombudsman requests) ensuring that the appropriate information is collected and reported on within legislative timeframes.
- Assess incoming requests in relation to LGOIMA and Privacy Act, with the ability to quickly identify what information is required
- Communicate requests and coordinate compilation of information with relevant departments within our organisation
- Analyse information received to ensure appropriateness and comprehensiveness of requests, assess (with assistance from the Legal Team) all information for release
