Apprenticeship Summary

• Salary: £12,480 a year (based on £8.00 per hour)
• Working Week: Position 1: Monday- Friday 6am- 12:30pm (30 minute break) or Position 2: Monday- Friday 11:30am- 6pm (30 minute break)
• Hours: 30 hours per week
• Online apprenticeship training supported by skilled tutors
• Level 2 Facilities Operative Apprenticeship
• Location: The Halifax Academy, Spring Hall Lane, Halifax, West Yorkshire, HX1 4TW (willing to travel to other sites if required)

The Role

This role involves supporting the facilities and estates team in maintaining the Academy buildings and grounds to a high standard. You will help ensure a safe, secure and clean environment for all users of the site.

You will contribute to the day‑to‑day operations of the Academy by carrying out a wide range of caretaking duties, including security, maintenance, cleaning and health and safety compliance.
