Job Description
We are looking for a contract Level 1 IT Support Specialist for a nonprofit public media organization in Providence, Rhode Island. This role will provide day‑to‑day technical support to internal staff, ensuring reliable systems, networks, and tools during a period of organizational transition and growth.

Job Logistics
Shifts / Hours: Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm
Location: Providence, Rhode Island (50 Park Lane)
Travel: Minimal local travel between sites
Work model: Onsite
Tools/Tech: Google Workspace, printers, network systems

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:
 • Provide daily IT support to staff across multiple locations
 • Troubleshoot printers, network connectivity, and device issues
 • Support Google Workspace and ensure proper system integration
 • Assist with computer swaps and network alignment
 • Escalate complex issues to external IT partners when needed
 • Work closely with IT leadership during a transition period
