Legal Advisor - LVI

Job Purpose

As a Legal Advisor specialising in Low Velocity Impact (LVI) cases, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of non‑litigated personal injury claims that involve allegations of fraud.

Key Responsibilities

• Progress claims in a timely manner in accordance with the CPR, prioritising urgent matters and managing daily caseloads.
• Instruct counsel for conferences, hearings, and case‑management conferences (CMCs).
• Keep clients informed and updated regularly throughout the claim’s lifecycle.
• Maintain strong relationships with referrers, ensuring consistent service and loyalty to the firm.
• Liaise with BTE (Before the Event) and ATE (After the Event) insurers, keeping them fully informed on claim progress.
• Check the authenticity and validity of claims, especially on complex or potentially fraudulent files.
• Prepare files for transfer to the litigation team as soon as possible.
