Legal Accounting Assistant Manager
Key Responsibilities
Report directly to the Managing Partner and Senior Partner on all financial matters, including accounting, cash flow, budgeting, and financial planning.Manage the firm’s accounting operations using PCLaw, including the preparation of weekly, monthly, and annual financial reports.Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing.Reconcile Trust Accounts and General Accounts to comply with Law Society of Ontario (LSO) regulations, including documentation for all trust-related transactions.Prepare and submit the LSO Annual Report for all lawyers and handle LawPro Professional Liability Insurance matters.Manage disbursements, billings, and the calculation of transaction levies.Conduct monthly and annual reconciliations, including adjusting e...
