Role
The role advertised is a Lecturer in Pure Mathematics (Grade 7) and is equivalent to the role of Assistant Professor at other institutions. 

As a lecturer, you will lead an independent research programme that complements the existing strengths of the Pure Mathematics section whilst delivering high-quality teaching. You will be expected to secure research funding, publish in leading journals, and contribute actively to our undergraduate and postgraduate curricula. Beyond the classroom, you will play an active role in the academic community through student supervision and departmental service.

Skills, Experience & Qualification needed
A PhD or equivalent qualification in a relevant area of the mathematical sciences.

A proven track record of research in pure mathematics that complements the Department’s existing specialisms.
