Lecturer in Early Childhood Education

The Lecturer – Bachelor of Teaching, Early Childhood Education (BTECE) is a permanent position based in Tairāwhiti within our School of Education, Social Sciences and Veterinary Nursing, reporting to the Head of School. This role prepares future Early Childhood Education teachers through quality teaching, curriculum development, student assessment and learner support. The position offers part‑time arrangements of 0.4 FTE to 0.9 FTE depending on candidate availability and suitability.

Appointing salary will be between $84,793 and $89,639, pro‑rated to FTE, dependent on skills and experience.
