Learning Support Assistants

Overview

We are looking for Learning Support Assistants for the Inreach provision at Broomfield South SILC, a KS1‑4 complex ASC provision. The role supports young people with autism spectrum condition, severe learning and communication needs, challenging behaviour, and other health comorbidities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver highly personalised independent‑routed curriculum and support within the Inreach provision.
• Provide substantial support, therapeutic interventions and facilitate learning and social development.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including speech and language therapists, occupational therapists, and external professionals.
• Work closely with families in home and community settings to support parental engagement.
• Implement Positive Behaviour Support, trauma‑informed practice and other evidence‑based strategies.
