Learning support assistant

We are seeking a calm, compassionate, and highly committed Learning Support Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support to a pupil at a welcoming, inclusive, and forward-thinking primary school in Yeovil. Main Responsibilities

• Provide targeted one-to-one support tailored to the pupil's individual learning, social, and emotional needs.
• Build a trusting, positive, and motivational relationship to help the pupil develop confidence and make meaningful progress.
• Collaborate proactively with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement effective behaviour support and personalised learning strategies.
• Ensure the pupil always feels heard, understood, respected, and valued.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment where all learners can succeed.
