Learning Support Assistant – Barnet – September 2026 Start

We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join our specialist ARP setting in September 2026, supporting Year 8 and Year 9 students across all subjects. The role involves working closely with two learners through 1:2 interventions and small group support, helping them access learning and make consistent progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide targeted academic support across KS3 subjects.
• Work in 1:2 and small‑group settings with Year 8 and Year 9 students.
• Support pupils within an ARP setting, including those with Autism (ASC) and other additional needs.
• Maintain firm, clear boundaries while remaining kind, patient and consistent.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and pastoral teams to support progress.
