Learning Support Assistant

About the Role

Curledge Street Academy are seeking a SEND Learning Support Assistant in Key Stage 2 with experience to join their team (desirable). The successful candidate will provide teaching and learning support, under the guidance of the class teacher, to pupils in all areas of the curriculum.

Our SEND Learning Support Assistant will assist in the supervision of pupils and promote learning and safety, for example, at break and lunch times and on educational visits, promoting positive behaviour patterns, raising self‑esteem and improving independent working in pupils to assist in their education and growth.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the observation and monitoring of pupil progress.
• Maintaining accurate records of interventions and tracking achievements.
