Learning Support Assistant – Corby

About the role

Justteachers is seeking a supportive Learning Support Assistant to work in a mainstream primary school in Corby. This full-time role starts September 2026 and runs until July 2027. You will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and provide targeted support for pupils who require additional help.

Key Responsibilities

• Support pupils during classroom learning activities
• Assist with small group work and targeted interventions
• Encourage pupil participation and confidence
• Support the preparation of teaching resources
• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Pre-requisites

• Experience working with children in an educational setting
• Enthusiastic and supportive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to obtain one
• Two references within the last two years from a related field
