Learning Support Assistant - College

We are working with a specialist college in Mottingham, South East London, seeking a confident and proactive Learning Support Assistant to join our team from September. The role involves supporting post‑16 learners across Entry Level Maths & English, as well as hands‑on vocational areas such as Floristry, Garden Design, Animal Care and Agriculture. You will provide 1:1 support to a learner with SEND needs, including autism, ADHD and SEMH. The role includes classroom support, practical sessions and outdoor learning, so candidates must be comfortable working outside in all seasons.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support to SEND learners.
• Support learners in Maths & English, Floristry, Garden Design, Animal Care and Agriculture.
• Assist in classroom and practical sessions.
• Facilitate outdoor learning activities.
