Job Overview

Academics are recruiting for a residential SEN college in Bournemouth that caters to young people aged 16-25 with Asperger’s or high‑functioning autism. The role requires an experienced Learning Support Assistant to support learners on a 1:1 and small‑group basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual and small‑group support to learners with SEN, particularly autism and Asperger’s.
• Manage challenging behaviour and support mental health needs to allow learning.
• Assist with functional, vocational, academic, and personal skill development per individual learning plans.
• Work 40 hours per week, term‑time only.
