Learning Support Assistant - Behaviour Support (Mainstream School)

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient Learning Support Assistant to work within a mainstream school , supporting pupils who display challenging behaviour and require additional emotional and behavioural support to engage positively with learning.

This is a rewarding role for someone who is calm under pressure, consistent in their approach, and committed to helping pupils develop self-regulation, confidence and positive relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with challenging behaviour
• Support pupils in managing emotions and behaviour within the classroom environment
• Use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
• Support pupils to remain engaged in learning and access the curriculum
