Responsibilities Lead the design of turbomachinery components and systems (brackets, ducts, tubes, hoses, harnesses).
Perform mechanical analysis, gas turbine engine component design, hand calculations, engineering documentation, component durability assessment, and engine manufacturing, build, and test.
Implement product definition criteria in accordance with requirements for commercial attributes related to producibility/manufacturability.
Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA): plan, execute, and document the RCA process to identify causes of mechanical system failures, equipment malfunctions or performance issues, ensuring timely solutions.
