Lead Supplier Quality Engineering Specialist

Job Description

**Who will you be working with?**

You will be working with Supplier Quality Engineering team to ensure and improving the overall quality of supplier manufactured material for assigned commodities and/or areas of the plant.

**How will you make a difference?**

You will be responsible for qualifying new suppliers, developing existing suppliers, working with Sourcing to manage and implement supplier/engineering changes, driving resolution of supplier quality problems and corrective actions, and providing technique consultant.

**What do we want to know about you?**

+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college. Major in Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Engineering related is desired.
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Quality, Sourcing, Manufacturing or Engineering role.
+ Ability to travel to suppliers as appropriate for audits and to address quality issues, approximately 30-50% of time.
