Amentum, a global leader in advanced engineering, technical, and professional services serving the US government, allies and critical infrastructure sectors, is seeking a Lead SATCOM Electronics Technician to support a government contract based on the island of Diego Garcia.PURPOSE / SCOPEThe Lead SATCOM Electronics Technician is responsible for leading the SATCOM Electronics Team in setting-up, packing, configuring, operating, and maintaining satellite terminals (fixed and tactical) along with associated assemblies and providing technical assistance and training to users.Other duties may include, but not be limited to the following:- Serves as a hands‐on, working shift for configuration, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of SATCOM Terminals.
