**Job Description**

The Lead Painter oversees daily operations in the paint shop while working hands-on to refurbish lift equipment and ensure high-quality finishes. This role leads and assists the paint team with blasting old paint, applying new coatings after repairs, and operating electrostatic and air-assist paint systems as needed. The Lead Painter supports production planning, quality control, and continuous improvement, while also contributing to hiring, training, and employee support within the department.

**Essential Skills**

+ 3+ years of experience in a leadership role in a manufacturing environment.
+ 2+ years of experience with industrial painting in a production or manufacturing setting.
+ Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide, support, and coordinate a paint department team.
