Lead Network Automation Engineer

Role Summary

The Resident Engineer will provide onsite L2 (Day 2) operational support for SD-WAN services built on Versa Networks and Fortinet platforms.

The role ensures high availability, proactive monitoring, incident resolution, and SLA compliance while acting as the coordination point between client and centralized Service Operations Center.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide L2 troubleshooting for Versa & Fortinet SD-WAN (overlay/underlay, routing, policy issues).
2. Monitor link health (MPLS, Internet), latency, jitter, and packet loss.
3. Troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, static routing, VPN tunnels, and SD-WAN path selection issues.
4. Ensure SLA & MTTR compliance through timely incident handling.
5. Coordinate with ISPs and OEM TAC for escalations.
6. Maintain configurations, documentation, and service reports.
