Lead - Litigation

Purpose : To oversee all facets of litigation, ensuring compliance, mitigating risks, seeking favorable resolutions, and providing strategic legal support to protect the organization's interests.

Principal Accountabilities

Response to Notice and Litigation Filing -

Receive original documents (information/notice) and backup documentation from the User Department. Prepare and finalize reply pleadings based on inputs from the User Department and send to the National Legal Head for comments and approval. Update the notice tracker with the date of reply and discuss with the National Legal Head if litigation is to be filed. Plan for dispute settlement at the notice stage through negotiation and mediation, minimizing the need for escalated legal action.
