Java Developer Lead
Purpose
Lead the design and delivery of enterprise Java solutions on the IDIT platform. This role combines hands-on development with technical leadership, ensuring high-quality, scalable solutions while guiding and mentoring a Java development team.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of Java developers, taking accountability for delivery and quality.
Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end solutions (UI, business logic, SQL data models).
Architect and implement integrations with external systems and APIs (REST/SOAP).
Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions.
Review code, enforce best practices, and drive Agile and CI/CD adoption.
Ensure performance, security, compliance (POPIA), and platform reliability.
Oversee testing, documentation, and technical governance.
