Job Description

Red Chair Recruitment are seeking an experienced and capable Lead Installer to take charge of one of our window and door fitting crews. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality installations, managing a small team on-site, and representing the business in a professional manner within customers’ homes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and carry out installations of uPVC and aluminium windows and doors to the highest standards

  • Accurately interpret and work from survey sheets

  • Remove existing windows and doors safely and cleanly

  • Apply insulation, sealants, and weatherproofing for long-term durability and energy efficiency

  • Ensure the site remains safe, clean, and professional during and after work

  • Supervise and support junior fitters and labourers on site

  • Liaise with office staff and project coordinators to flag issues or delays
