Lead Gas Network Engineer

Purpose of this role

Responsible for the delivery activities of GTC’s gas network assets and the delivery of related work programmes and processes as allocated.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in ensuring gas assets are maintained and operated in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Ensure company operations comply with the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000, Pipeline Safety Regulations 1996 and DSEAR (including Initiator and Appraiser roles).
• Undertake audits, site inspections and provide technical advice to ensure compliance with company policies and the fitness for purpose of assets and activities taking place on them, including work in progress audits for construction and maintenance activities.
• Proactively manage hazards and risks identified by contractors and delivery partners; take ownership of their resolution, develop and deliver appropriate action plans.
